Our latest episode of A Woman's Brew Podcast (episode 32) is now out! Joanne and I speak with Rich from Werewolf Beers - an up-and-coming "American Brewery In London" - to discuss his crowdfunder for the brewery location in the Camden railway arches.
(Photos provided by Rich of the arch location as it currently looks)
I originally connected with the Werewolf Beers account on Instagram last year and we bonded over our mutual love of Frank Turner (which we discuss and I get jealous all over again for his stories) and beer. I also find out something new about Joanne and a certain collection she has (I'll save that for those of you that listen/watch), but I will say that it's something Rich has as one of his perks on his crowdfunder and I think she puts both Rich and I to shame. We sink a few beers together (I opted to start with the Chubbles TIPA from Cloudwater x The Veil to mark the blending of US and UK beers but ended with some other American stunners remaining from my "American IPA" tasting just before recording).
There are some really cool perks to this crowdfunder and as of Friday, Rich was only down 10k (in 10 days - #10kin10days ). With only a week left to go, he's got about 8.5k still left to raise to make this happen. Please consider donating anything you can to help this very deserving guy's vision come true. I know I am donating the second payday comes this weekend and crossing fingers the perks I'm wanting aren't gone by then! It's definitely going to be something I think is well fitting for Camden - one of my favourite places in London to visit - and I realllyyyy cannot wait for this to happen so I can visit. He also told us he'll make a pumpkin beer, to which we promptly offered our services free of charge (I'll even bring lunch!), so you know we'd both be in regardless LOL
