With Stout Sunday now having come and gone, Joanne and I bring to you Episode 27 of A Woman's Brew Podcast - an episode all about stouts (upon request from some lovely listeners).
In this episode, Joanne and I unpack all the different varieties of stouts, from the early beginnings up until present day - including unofficial styles. And most importantly, we drink Verdant's Export Stout, the Oatmeal Stout from Samuel Smiths, a Wiper & True milk stout, and finished it off with an Oyster Stout from a collaboration of Brewdog x Two Tonnes. I can safely say that Oyster stouts don't make me cringe as much as I expected them to based on the name alone and I definitely learned a fair few things from the ever knowledgeable Joanne (and I'm sure you will too).
