As anyone could expect, I am particularly excited and proud of Episode 24 of A Woman's Brew Podcast as we got a chance to sit down with the man behind both the beard and the digital events hosted by Siren Craft Brew over the last year - Matt! Joanne and I settled in with a can of Midnight Mischief (a nitro milk stout) and a can of Enter Strata (a hazy IPA) for the chat.
As a person who's dream job would be to do marketing and events management at a brewery, getting to sit down with Matt to discuss the importance of digital events both during and post covid times was an absolute treat. Siren have knocked it out of the park with digital events since the beginning of the first lockdown a year ago, so discussing this topic with Matt in particular seemed perfect. He talked to us about his background prior to joining the Siren team and what his job at the brewery has been like during these unprecedented times. We also discuss what our ideal events would be and see how he stacks up in "Name That Beer" against last week's challenger - Andrew - from Three Hills. Thanks to Matt's brilliant suggestion, we've made sure to keep a leader board (sorry but thank you, Matt).
