We eased into January with Episode 17 comparing Brewdog AF to its alcoholic sibling. Then we went full dry for Dry January in last week's episode (Episode 18).... And NOW we couldn't go any further in the opposite direction with Episode 19 : Amped Up Beers.
We turn the dial "Up To 11" to explore what Imperialised versions of already satisfying beers taste like as well as discussing those that have previously worked, those that previously have NOT worked, and our hot takes on why we think breweries may be choosing to create these variants.
The beers we physically dig into on this episode starts with Brewdog's "Hazy" family tree (Hazy Jane, O-G Hazy, & Triple Hazy) and finishes with two different head to heads with some high praise from Hammerton - Crunch vs Crunchier and City of Cake vs Cake Metropolis.
