Happy 2021! If you're reading this, I'm assuming you've also made it (at least mostly) safe and sound. Many people are participating in Dry January after the rough 12 months prior and you'll hear more about dry options from Joanne and myself next week, but we thought we'd start off easing our way in with Episode 17 (out now on Youtube and all the major podcast platforms). In this episode, I try a Nanny State for the first time, give a brief history of Brewdog AF and compare Punk AF and Lost AF to their Alcoholic counterparts so see how they stack up and whether or not they scratch that itch.
As much as we would've loved to have more of the AF range to try and compare, we couldn't get our hands on singles of the Hazy AF, Elvis AF, or - my most desired - Ghost Walker (the collab with Lamb of God). If anybody has any leads on where you can get these as singles, do give me a shout on instagram @Adventures_in_hoptimism as I'd be happy to do a part 2 comparing those.
