We're in the "beer"! All "beer"-related puns are now out of the way...whew.
Our final A Woman's Brew Podcast episode - episode 16 - has come out just in time to take out the trash and ring in the new year. In the real world, life was pretty uneventful in that we were all stuck in our homes for the majority of it watching the days pass by (don't even ask me what day it is today as I genuinely don't even know). For those of us in the beer world - however - we had some real ups and downs. There were good beers and bad beers, crazy-hyped supermarket beers introduced, friendships formed, communities tightened, and (arguably bad) drinking habits put on full blast.
We discussed most of this and more in our episode, including a look into what we want from the beeriverse in 2021. All in all, I will admit that while it's been a shitstorm of a year for the world as a whole, I did have enough positives come out of it (including meeting Joanne and creating this podcast) that I don't think it's quite fair to describe it as the "worst year of my life".... Apologies things got a bit bitmoji crazy up in here, but it's hard to pull relevant photos when you've been locked in your home for most of the 12 months and we don't have any real photos together! With our vaccine slowly being distributed here in the UK, hopefully 2021 will be a year we can change that as well as be able to visit more beery locations here and abroad.
As usual, we appreciate all of your support thus far and wish you a safe and healthy new year. Let's all get ready to make 2021 our most fulfilling year yet!
