Though we recorded this originally when there was a big "battle of the beers" between Tesco & Morrisons back in September-ish of this year (2020), we were finding our footing still in the infancy of our recordings and ended up with a lot of time-sensitive material we wanted to get pushed out first so we put this episode on the back burner. We've finally released it from the vault for our second to last episode of 2020. In this episode, Joanne and I give our "hot takes" on Supermarkets vs Bottleshops, where supermarket beers fit into the lives of ourselves and others, and what our struggles with supermarket craft beers are.
It may be a tad late on the "hottness" spectrum, but the fires between Tesco & Morrisons still burn on and have - if anything - only expanded further, so perhaps a follow up episode is required where we do a Supermarket Sweep Showdown to figure out who the reigning champ of beer is in the supermarket game (I'll give you a hint, it's probably not Sainsbury's, Lidl, Aldi, M&S or Coop..)....
