Episode 13 of A Woman's Brew podcast is now live on all the major podcasting platforms and Youtube for your listening and/or viewing pleasure. Both Joanne and I were particularly excited about this episode because we covered 2 breweries each that are our most local and most visited. For Joanne, those breweries are Time & Tide and Boutilliers and for moi, we cover Siren and Elusive. We were very excited to share some of our favourite locals with you, and being that we are so fortunate to live near so many excellent breweries, we hope we can bring you some more of our local favourites soon - and maybe even get to drink at one together!
I want to also state that we weren't sponsored by, provided beer by, approached by, whatever'd by any of these 4 breweries (or the breweries they may have collab'd with), we did this strictly because we love these breweries and wanted to showcase them (and I wanted to force Joanne to drink something light-coloured and hoppy! MUAHAH). We looked into the breweries ourselves and fact checked as much as possible, so I am only hoping we did these breweries justice and didn't let any misinformation get through (and thank you to Andy @ Elusive and Matt @ Siren for being so kind as to confirm some facts for me ahead of recording).
Note to the listener - we did record this a few month's back but we had so much time-sensitive content that we wanted to bring to you that we decided to hold off on releasing this one in favour of some others. At the time, Talus hadn't long been out and was still one of the first UK brewery releases utilising the hop, so you get to hear Joanne's first time trying it (as I cheated and had one ahead of the podcast recording).
